Visit our newly renovated and charming Holiday Home on the stunning Tutakaka Coast three hours’ drive from Auckland and just across the road from the stunning white sands of Matapouri Bay Beach. Snorkel in nearby Whale Bay, fish from the rocks nearby, or surf at Sandy Bay – there is plenty to see and do! Later relax in comfort and enjoy the updated bathroom, kitchen, and new double-glazed windows and doors.
Matapouri Bay is a beautiful white sandy bay where children can play and swim safely. For good snorkelling and fishing from the rocks there is a lovely walk over to Whale Bay, and further on is Sandy Bay - the best of the surfing beaches in the area.
Whilst you’re in the area, take the opportunity to go on an ocean cruise to explore the fantastic Poor Knights Island, dive the historic Rainbow Warrior shipwreck in the beautiful Cavalli Islands, hike to Tane Moana – the largest known coastal Kauri, or explore the vineyards in the area.
