Darroch Slope
Our lovely 3-bedroom Omaha Holiday Home sleeps six and is located approximately 1 ½ hours’ drive north of Auckland and situated a 5-minute walk away from the beautiful white sandy Omaha Beach - popular for swimming, surfing, and water skiing. The popular village of Matakana, the Sculptureum with its sculpture gardens and art galleries, and many orchards, and vineyards and restaurants are a short distance away.
Omaha Beach is monitored by lifeguards during the summer swimming season and the protected all-tides harbour provides a safe swimming environment for children. The Surf Club in Broadlands Drive operates during the summer months, and for those into boating there is a boat launching ramp at the end of Omaha Drive. Golfers can play on the nearby 9 hole golf course and there are also two tennis courts available for those wanting a game of tennis.
For those who enjoy walking the Tāwharanui Regional Park is a great place to explore, or one can drive in the other direction to the Goat Island Marine Reserve where you can snorkel or dive with friendly fish in the Reserve.
There is lot to see and do in the surrounding areas including visiting the popular village of Matakana, the Sculptureum with its sculpture gardens and art galleries, the Saw Mill Brewery for a tasting, or exploring the many orchards and vineyards and restaurants.

The Holiday Home is fully furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, Smart TV, free Wi-Fi and heat pump.
The Omaha Beach Superette in Matariki Street is well stocked with everything you might need including basic fruit, vegetables and alcohol. The Beach Café and Eatery next door serves a decent coffee and breakfast.
